Rate The Book
If I had to rate this book I would give it 3 out of 5. I gave it 3 out of 5 stars because it take too long to get into
the book. The book was a good book but that’s why I have it 3 out of 5
Summary
The book begins in a town of Brigus, Newfoundland, in 1915. Charlie has a
clubbed foot and he goes to the hospital to get it fixed. Charlie meets 2 people Davy, a boy that lost his leg and Nurse Mac.
When Charlie’s foot is fixed he goes back home he over hears his dad talking about "Charlie not being fit for the ice"
determined to prove them wrong he runs away. Charlie stows away in a fishing vessel, the ship is really full of soldiers going
for war in Europe.
